Transitioning from CEO to advisor, I’m finding one thing particularly exciting

A major shift always brings uncertainty. As I transition from CEO to advisor, I’m finding one thing particularly exciting.

As a CEO in an organisation, I focused on one business model at a time. I gave 120% of my effort to just growing that one business. An all-in approach.

Now, with an outside-in approach as an advisor, I get to see multiple business models in a compressed amount of time allowing me to bring fresh insights into the organisation.

I get to unpack four or five, maybe even six, business models in one year, which have different revenue recognition capabilities, different growth potentials, and different cultural elements.

This is something I’m really looking forward to in the near future.
